Jason Jackson (born May 12, 1972) is a sportscaster and journalist from the United States. He worked for ESPN from 1995 to 2002, and is best known as the presenter of the NBA 2Night television show. Jackson was dismissed from ESPN in May 2002 after he was found to have violated company policies. He later acknowledged that he had made “comments that had sexual connotations on occasion in select company,” but he denied having sexually harassed any of his coworkers. According to ESPN, there was no specific cause for Jackson’s dismissal. In 2003, he started his own sports talk radio programme in Hartford, Connecticut, which he named The Jax Show. In September 2007, he returned to presenting The Jax Show on WQAM in Miami, which he did weekday afternoons. He is now employed as a colour commentator for the Miami Heat. From January through October 2012, The Jax Show returned in the afternoons from 1-3 PM on WAXY, the official radio station of the Miami Heat.
